• The Dapper Rat Calendar 2009 is now available!
• Due to changes in the AU$-US$ exchange rate, all international product prices have been updated (reduced!) at The Dapper Rat store.  I apologise if prices change soon after you have paid for an order, but the exchange rate is highly mobile in the current financial situation.  I'll be updating the prices as often as possible to stay in line with the current rate.

• The Dapper Rat Calendar 2008 is now sold out.  We're currenty shooting the photos for the 2009 calendar, which should be announced in the next few weeks.

• SALE!  The Dapper Rat Calendar 2008 price has been discounted until sold out.
• The new 13th edition of Rat Health Care is now available.
• Senior and Junior Wodent Wheels are now available in new coloured panels - bright pink and bright blue!
• Photos of our stall at The Spectacular Petacular (the Brisbane Pet Expo) are in the Temporary Gallery.

• New Robyn's Ramble.
• It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our big squish Noogie.  A tribute to the late great Noogs is on Nougat's webpage.
• The Isabelle Gallery has been added with lots of photos of our gorgeous daughter.
• Splash, Gecko and Waffle turned 1 year old recently!  A few photos from their party are in this Temporary Gallery.
• A new set of Greeting Cards is now available - it includes some new cards and some old ones.  A Mixed Set of greeting cards is also now available.
• Due to variation in the AU$ - US$ exchange rate, our international prices have been updated on all products from The Dapper Rat store.  Also, Australia Post's rates have risen for all international post.
• The new season colours for the Rat hammocks and Rat toys are now in use, so we no longer have green or aqua available.
• Updated copyright information to 2008 in footer on all pages.

• New Robyn's Ramble.
• Alan and I are very proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Isabelle Claire.   Born on the 16th October 2007, weighing 3.14kg (6lb 14.5oz).

• Due to variation in the AU$ - US$ exchange rate, our international prices have been updated on all products from The Dapper Rat store.  I apologise for the unexpected increase in the calendar price so soon after release, but the exchange rate has risen rapidly in the last week.  I'll be keeping a close eye on the rate fluctuations and changing prices accordingly to keep them as low as possible for our customers.

• New Robyn's Ramble.
• It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our stunningly beautiful Schnoz.  A tribute to the late great SchnozMonster is on Schnoz's webpage.
• The Dapper Rat Calendar 2008 is nearly finished!   You can view some of the shoots here.  It should be announced and ready for pre-order within a week or so.
• Our Christmas cards are now available for purchase.
• Small Treat bowls are available again, in glazed terracotta.
• Due to difficulty obtaining green polar fleece this season, we only have limited stock available in green for Rat Hammocks and Rat Toys.
  
• Added several more vets to the Australian Rat Vets list.

• We're currently photographing for The Dapper Rat Calendar 2008 and hope to announce it in the next few weeks.
• Due to time restraints (the birth of our first child due in late October) we won't be shooting new Christmas cards this year.  The three sets from last year will be re-printed instead.  My apologies to those who were hoping for new cards.

• It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Ilford.  Ilford's webpage has been updated with a tribute to this gentle, sweet natured and very cuddly rat who we miss dearly.  Also added is one more tale of Ilford.
• The Dapper Rat will be attending The Spectacular Petacular, a pet expo to be held in Brisbane on 17-18th March 2007.
