About Rubble

We adopted Rubble from our local pet store to be friends with Frazil and Notch. He was so named because he had a little pile of minky dots on his rump, which look like they've broken off his hood stripe and collected near his tail.

Rubble was a lovely sparkling silvery colour with a beautiful spray of white whiskers - very pretty for a buck! He was long and lean and sleek and always perfectly groomed. He started out quite a shy rat, happy to sit quietly in his nestbox and watch the others play. But he gained confidence and loved to bounce about with his friends.

He battled respiratory illness his whole life, so he didn't grow into a big rat. He was a small, dainty little buck, so beautiful and gentle. He was always the quiet one, happy to lurk in a hammock or nestbox and just watch the action from others.
